About the Role
As a Survey Director, you will provide leadership and direction to the surveying department, manage people and processes, assist with marketing efforts, serve as a technical advisor, and oversee all surveying activities. You will also define project scopes, monitor progress, and ensure projects stay within budget while maintaining high professional standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field.
- Professional Land Surveying registration.
- Ten or more years of land surveying or related land development experience, including a minimum of two years of project management experience.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Carlson principles.
- Must be a licensed surveyor in the relevant state.
Preferred:
- Experience managing a Survey Department.
- Strong Survey Business Acumen including proposal preparation and business development.
- Strong Local Jurisdictional Knowledge for Plat preparation and approval.
