About the Role
As a Survey Party Chief, you will provide day-to-day supervision of the survey field crew, ensuring quality and adherence to survey methodology. You will coordinate with contractors, make decisions regarding property lines, gather necessary information for surveys, and maintain records essential to the survey process. The position requires effective communication with clients and management to maximize efforts and resources.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three or more years of experience working on a land surveying party.
- Current, valid State Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
Preferred:
- Prior Party Chief experience.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Thorough knowledge of construction stakeout procedures and practices.
- Familiarity with field procedures for boundary and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys.
