About the Role
As a Survey Technician I, you will be responsible for operating reflective prism poles, leveling rods, and self-reading rods for vertical control, conducting construction and topographic surveys, and performing hydrographic surveys. You will take measurement readings, provide mathematical checks, record distances, set up survey instruments, prepare survey markers, and maintain survey tools and equipment. Additionally, you may assist in planning survey assignments and perform calculations for construction staking.
About You
Required:- Completion of four semesters of recognized surveyor's apprenticeship classes at an accredited college and six months of field survey experience.
- A valid California Class C Driver License.
Preferred:- Completion of 60 semester units or 90 quarter units, including at least 24 semester units in surveying at an accredited college or university.
