About the Role

As a Surviving Miami Reporter, you will report and write 4 to 6 stories per week focused on practical solutions for everyday challenges in South Florida. You will engage with readers through social media and community outreach, turning their questions into actionable journalism. The role includes producing service-oriented content, appearing in short-form videos, and collaborating with the newsroom to enhance coverage.

About You

Required:

College degree and several years of professional reporting experience.
Adherence to the highest professional journalism standards.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance.

Preferred:

Familiarity with South Florida and its community.
Language skills that enhance engagement with diverse audiences.
