About the Role
As an SVP, Actuarial Advisor, you will act independently to propose actuarial services, modify complex specialty models, expand client services, direct a team to build models for risk assessment, and communicate strategically with stakeholders. This hybrid role requires engaging directly with clients to discuss risks and solutions, leveraging your expertise in the reinsurance market.
About You
Required:
- Minimum ACAS designation, preferably FCAS, with at least 7-10 years of industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience in pricing, valuation, and/or capital modeling.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Coding experience in programming languages such as Alteryx, R, Python, VBA, or SQL.
Preferred:
- Experience in reinsurance.
- Experience in Financial Lines such as Errors & Omissions (E&O) and Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance.
- Visualization skills using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
