About the Role
As a Swim Lesson Instructor, you will teach swim lessons to participants at appropriate age levels, plan lessons, enforce safety rules, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the pool. You will also be responsible for taking attendance and updating certifications through the YMCA training program. Free training and certification are provided for those who are not certified.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to relate and work with diverse groups of people in a friendly manner.
Preferred:
- National CPR, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, and YMCA Swim Lessons Instructor certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in swimming strokes.
