As a Switchboard Operator, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, routing them to the appropriate department, handling paging requests, assisting with emergency communications, and ensuring accurate information delivery to patients and staff. You will also maintain records of calls and notifications, screen demographic information, and provide instructions for accessing external operators.
About You
Required:
- 0-2 years of experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare setting required.
- Proficient in operating switchboard or telecommunications equipment.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of switchboard experience preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital policies, codes, and procedures is a plus.
