Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior System Administrator to join their team in Washington, DC. The role involves improving technology supporting the Department of Defense by managing secure MS Windows network environments and providing cybersecurity solutions.
About the Role
As a Senior System Administrator, you will install, maintain, audit, and support a secure MS Windows network environment. Your responsibilities include analyzing and testing new software, administering ACAS scans, verifying STIG compliance, managing virtual workstations and servers using VMWare, and providing insights into network performance. You will also mentor team members and identify opportunities for network modernization to enhance the cyber maturity profile of DoD systems.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator, network engineer, or cybersecurity engineer.
- Experience with VMware hypervisor environment and managing virtual machines.
- Experience with Windows Operating systems, Windows Server, and provisioning applications.
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Security+ Certification.
Preferred:
- Experience with tools such as LogRhythm, JIRA.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Assurance, or Cyber.
- CASP, CISSP, or CCNA certifications.
