Credo is seeking a System Application Engineer Intern to join their AE Team in San Jose, CA. The role involves performing post-silicon verification and validation on high-speed SerDes chips and collaborating with various teams to improve testing procedures.
About the Role
As a System Application Engineer Intern, you will support Application Engineers in daily regression testing, work closely with the internal validation and firmware teams, generate detailed testing reports, and assist the Hardware team with PCB level debugging. You will also work on automated scripts for chip-level testing.
About You
Required:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Solid skills in Python Programming.
Basic knowledge of Digital Design and DSP.
Familiarity with lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
Background knowledge on SerDes/Equalizers.
Knowledge of Analog Design.
Experience with High-Speed Lab equipment including BERT and Real-time Scope.
Knowledge of communication protocols PCIE, I2C, USB, MDIO.
Experience with Excel and PowerPoint to organize large amounts of data.
