Credo is seeking a System Application Engineer Intern to join their AE Team in San Jose, CA. The role involves performing post-silicon verification and validation on high-speed SerDes chips, collaborating with various teams to enhance testing procedures.
About the Role
As a System Application Engineer Intern, you will support Application Engineers in daily regression testing, work closely with the internal validation and firmware teams, generate detailed testing reports, and assist the Hardware team with PCB level debugging. You will also be involved in in-lab testing, regression testing, and data analysis.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid skills in Python Programming.
- Basic knowledge of Digital Design and DSP.
- Familiarity with lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Background knowledge on SerDes/Equalizers.
- Knowledge of Analog Design.
- Experience with High-Speed Lab equipment including BERT and Real-time Scope.
- Knowledge of communication protocols like PCIE, I2C, USB, MDIO.
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint for data organization.
