About the Role
As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems that support warehouse operations, order processing, logistics, and enterprise applications. Your daily tasks will include monitoring and maintaining servers, managing network infrastructure, administering core business applications, and providing technical support across various locations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in systems/network administration.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and networking (firewalls, switches, wireless APs).
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (Azure, AWS).
- Understanding of IT compliance and security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a dynamic environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in food distribution, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems used in wholesale food (e.g., Produce Pro, Aptean, NetSuite).
- Scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Basic understanding of EDI and system integrations.
