Summary
Alacrity Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator III to join their team in Seattle, WA. The role involves day-to-day operation, maintenance, and support of virtual resources to optimize overall performance and maintain data integrity.
About the Role
As a Systems Administrator III, you will be responsible for monitoring system alerts, performing daily system monitoring, managing backups, and ensuring the integrity and availability of hardware and software systems. You will also assist in evaluating user needs, configure systems for high availability, and perform regular maintenance and upgrades.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely-related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of systems administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration including Identity and Endpoint Manager.
- Advanced knowledge of VMware enterprise virtual environment.
- Experience with IT Automation, Configuration Management, and Orchestration Tools.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience managing networks, storage & telephony solutions.
- Basic administrative knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
- Relevant internships, projects, or certifications: VCTA, VCP, VCAP, VCDX.
