About the Role
As a Systems Administrator, you will upgrade and expand network-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and analyze current systems to enhance security and availability. You will work closely with team members, customers, and vendors to provide solutions for sensor data transport requirements, demonstrating ownership and accountability for mission success.
About You
Required:
- 2+ years of experience with a Network Operations Center or Service Desk supporting customers in a technical environment.
- Experience with network administration or network engineering, including configuring and installing network devices such as routers and switches.
- Top Secret clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M or DoDM 8140.03 Certification such as Security+ Certification within 30 days of start date.
Preferred:
- Experience with virtual applications, including VMware vSphere, vCenter, or ESXi.
- Experience with VMWare NSX.
- Experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
- Experience with root-cause analytic tools.
- Knowledge of Gem One and KG.
- Ability to analyze ticket trends and propose process improvements.
