About the Role
As a Systems Engineer for People Systems & M&A, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of people systems integration from due diligence through post-close stabilization. Your tasks will include designing and executing Workday data migrations, configuring People systems for acquired populations, and supporting payroll and compliance-critical cutovers. You will also partner with various teams to assess HR systems and ensure a positive employee experience during transitions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HRIS, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience supporting People Systems or HRIS, with hands-on experience in Workday.
- Demonstrated experience supporting M&A-related HR systems integrations or large-scale employee onboarding events.
- Strong expertise in Workday configuration, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, security, and reporting.
- Experience using EIBs, Calculated Fields, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Proven understanding of people data governance, security, and compliance requirements in an M&A context.
Preferred:
- Experience with Workday Studio.
- Experience supporting global or multi-entity M&A integrations.
- Familiarity with automation tools or process optimization within HR or People Systems.
