Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer to support modernization efforts on-site at their lab facility in Augusta, GA. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining information technology systems for government customers.
About the Role
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating hardware and software in a virtual environment to deploy a multi-function communication system. Your duties will include system testing, integration, configuration, and troubleshooting across multiple platforms, as well as evaluating software/hardware versions for interoperability with existing systems.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience with network and software-based systems and 5+ years working with relevant Army network systems.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- In-depth hands-on experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools.
- In-depth experience with routing protocols and knowledge of Switching Architecture.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with Linux and VMWare ESXi.
- Experience with Army tactical communications configuration items and systems.
- DoD IAT Level II Certified (i.e. Sec+, CCNA, CCNP).
