Summary
Chenega MIOS SBU is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves providing technical assistance to the Director of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Enterprise Engineering and supporting large-scale government operations.
About the Role
As a Systems Engineer, you will perform analyst duties to elicit stakeholder requirements, define requirements using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques, draft and review technical documents, support technical reviews, and facilitate M&S and digital engineering transformation initiatives. You will also represent Enterprise Engineering in agency teams and perform other assigned duties.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.
- 7+ years of related professional experience.
- Practical experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
- Experience using MBSE tools, such as IBM Rhapsody, and integrated requirements tools, such as DOORS Next Generation (NG).
- Active Secret clearance.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in applicable field.
- MBSE certifications and training (i.e., OMG, INCOSE, etc.).
- Ballistic Missile Defense System (MDS) domain experience.
- Experience with analysis, test, and systems engineering of M&S for MDS elements.
- Ability to work with a diverse team of engineers.
