Summary
Basic Commerce and Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer / Senior Navy Subject Matter Expert to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in Dahlgren, VA.
About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide senior level systems engineering and analysis support to multiple customers. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and recommending solutions for combat systems integration, conducting risk management assessments, performing predictive Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability analyses, and assisting with program certification activities. You will work collaboratively with a team of subject matter experts and engineers, ensuring effective communication and project management under tight deadlines.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 20 years US Navy surface warfare experience or 15-20 years civil service or OEM experience.
- Specialized experience in Aegis Combat and Weapon Systems, Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense, Ship Self Defense System, Integrated Air and Missile Defense, or similar programs.
- Advanced writing and speaking abilities.
- Two years experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Preferred:
- Formal degree in systems engineering, software engineering, or significant analysis experience.
