Atlas Search is seeking a Tax & Reporting Associate – Alternative Investments to join their Finance team in New York, NY. The role involves working closely with senior leadership on various tax and reporting responsibilities in a growing investment environment.
About the Role
As a Tax & Reporting Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reporting for management companies and GP entities, modeling taxable income in Excel, preparing fund tax estimates, and supporting external auditors. You will also assist with U.S. state and local tax filings and grow into tax planning responsibilities as you progress.
About You
Required:
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in tax or management reporting (Big 4 or mix of public + in-house).
- Strong knowledge of partnership and corporate tax compliance; prior exposure to alternative investments is a plus.
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills; ability to handle complex structures and deadlines.
- Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively in a small, high-performing team.
Preferred:
- CPA preferred (or in progress).
