About the Role

As a Tax Associate - Onsite, you will work directly with customers at a TurboTax location, providing full service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support. You will assist clients with various tax situations, from simple W2 filings to complex scenarios involving business income and investments. Your role will also include community engagement to grow TurboTax's client base and establish long-term relationships.

About You

Required:

Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
Familiarity with Circular 230.
Willingness to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week.

Preferred:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
