About the Role
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, s-corps, and trusts. You will utilize tax software such as UltraTax and Checkpoint, conduct thorough research on tax-related issues, and maintain strong client relationships. Additionally, you will provide guidance to junior staff and participate in business development activities.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CPA candidate.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Strong Tax REVIEW experience.
- Proficiency in tax software such as UltraTax and Checkpoint or similar.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
Preferred:
- 7+ years of tax experience in a CPA firm.
