About the Role
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and review of income tax returns, particularly 1040 and 1041 forms. You will also research complex tax issues, develop practical tax planning strategies, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a paperless environment.
About You
Required:
- At least 8 years of experience preferably with large local or regional CPA firms.
- Strong experience with 1040/1041 returns.
- Licensed CPA or EA is preferred.
- Proven ability to research complex tax issues and develop quality, practical tax planning.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, with solid working knowledge of CCH ProSystem fx tax being a plus.
Preferred:
- MS in Taxation is preferred.
- Experience working in a paperless environment.
