About the Role
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and review of complex tax returns, overseeing multiple engagements, serving as the primary advisor for a diverse client portfolio, supervising and mentoring team members, and staying updated with tax law changes. You will also assist in identifying new client service opportunities and represent the firm in networking events.
About You
Required:
- CPA designation is required.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. tax laws across all entity types.
- Proven ability to lead teams and develop talent.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset.
Preferred:
- Proficient in tax preparation and research tools (e.g., CCH, BNA, ProSystem FX).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
Benefits
- Base Salary: $100k–$125k based on experience, certifications, workload, and performance.
- Performance Bonuses: $2,000–$7,000 annually based on client satisfaction, engagement success, and firm profitability.
- Referral Bonus: $500 for successful employee referrals after 60 days.
- Certification Bonus: $2,500 for CPA certification.
