Summary
EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join their Private Client Services team in Minneapolis. The role involves coordinating, planning, and supervising multiple engagements including consulting, compliance, and tax planning services.
About the Role
As a Tax Senior Associate, you will be responsible for preparing federal, state, multi-state, and international income tax returns, conducting research and planning according to applicable tax laws, responding to IRS and state tax notices, and communicating with clients. You will also assist in training and mentoring interns and associates while working as part of an integrated team.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
- 4+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a mix of public/private experience.
- Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts/estates, and/or entities.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or parts passed towards completion, or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification.
- Experience using ProSystems FX, CCH Engagement, XCM or similar tax software.
