Summary
Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Tax Senior to join their dynamic Tax Services team in Boca Raton, FL. The role involves preparing complex tax returns and providing planning and tax compliance services to clients.
About the Role
As a Tax Senior, you will prepare complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and private equity funds. You will conduct first-level reviews of returns prepared by interns and lower-level staff, assist managers in client interactions, manage engagement budgets, train and mentor interns, resolve minor issues with tax authorities, and dedicate time to professional and business development activities.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's in Accounting required.
- Master's in Taxation or working toward completion, required.
- Strong knowledge of all tax provisions.
- At least 3 years of recent experience in public accounting with strong tax preparation skills (1040s, 1065s, 1120, 1120s).
Preferred:
- CPA strongly preferred.
- Team player with a commitment to high-quality, detailed work.
- Self-starter with the ability to deal with multiple priorities.
- Ability to deal with clients and a good executive presence.
- Proficiency in ProSystems, Excel, and a paperless environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime.
