About the Role
About You
- 3+ years' experience in state income and franchise tax.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model requiring in-person attendance 2-3 days per week.
- One of the following active accreditations: Licensed CPA, Licensed attorney, or Enrolled Agent.
- Ability to travel 10% on average.
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax or JD and/or LLM.
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Experience with preparation and review of state income and franchise tax returns.
- Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis.
Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $66k–$152k.
