About the Role
As a Tax Services Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse array of projects including state tax partnership compliance, tax planning, consulting, and legislative developments. You will analyze complex tax operations, identify opportunities and risks, and develop tailored tax strategies for clients. Additionally, you will supervise a team of professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- CPA, licensed Attorney or EA.
- Minimum of 8 years professional knowledge in state and local Income/Franchise tax processes.
- Experience managing budgets, people, and projects.
- Proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
- Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
- Ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects.
- Strong influencing skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in a professional services environment or in-house experience in wealth and asset management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, One Source Tax Compliance Software, Corptax, and/or Premium Pro.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Ability to adapt work style to collaborate with internal and client teams.
