About the Role
As a Taylor Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a multi-ton forklift to transport, store, and feed in-process lumber. You will ensure compliance with safety procedures, perform basic maintenance on the forklift, and maintain a neat and organized work area. The position requires working rotating shifts and performing physical tasks for up to twelve hours a day.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of six (6) months of experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, farming, warehouse, or military environment OR completion of training/schooling in a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of six (6) months of experience operating a forklift, backhoe, front end loader, or skid steer.
Preferred:
- Experience in the lumber industry.
- Experience with rigging equipment and knowledge of load weight identification.
