About the Role
As a Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and documenting educational activities, supervising classroom attendance, and collaborating with colleagues to manage daily classroom activities. The role requires creating a safe and sanitary classroom environment and promoting an inclusive atmosphere where all children feel valued.
About You
Required:
- High School Degree + Early Childhood NC Credentials (with at least 18 EC Ed credits) or Bachelor's in Education, Psychology.
- AA/AAS in Early Childhood Development or Child Development.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in early childhood.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Criminal background check verification.
Preferred:
- Fluent communication in Spanish and English.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Self-motivation, initiative, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Creative and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster teamwork and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and families.
