Ardmore Enterprises is seeking a Team Coordinator, Community Living to join their team in Lanham, MD. The role involves leading a team to ensure timely completion of assignments while fostering a positive team culture and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
About the Role
As a Team Coordinator, Community Living, you will supervise direct support professionals, model high-quality person-centered services, and collaborate with families and support teams. Your responsibilities include coaching team members, ensuring compliance with medical appointments, tracking team progress, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. You will also be involved in staff training, recruitment processes, and conflict resolution to enhance service delivery.
About You
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent education; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
Minimum of two years' experience working with the IDD population.
Current DSP II credential or within one year of hire.
Completion of Team Coordinator development training.
Interest in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Preferred:
Supervisory experience or experience as lead staff.
Experience with computers and information management database systems.
