AHRC Nassau is seeking a Team Leader - Total Property Management to join their team in Freeport, NY. The role involves supervising and participating in landscaping and horticultural functions while managing a crew.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will oversee daily operations, manage landscape installation and maintenance tasks, and ensure efficient service delivery according to contract specifications. You will also provide on-the-job training to crew members, maintain equipment, and communicate effectively with customers and supervisors. The position requires working in various weather conditions and may include weekend and holiday shifts for snow removal.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Six (6) months of prior related experience in landscaping or horticultural functions.
- Experience with towing a trailer and driving a small dump truck.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and equipment maintenance.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid New York State driver's license with a good record.
Preferred:
- Experience in light construction.
- Certification in pesticide application.
