The role involves providing advanced technical leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS), and SCADA systems.
About the Role
As a Tech Specialist 2, you will be responsible for implementing interconnected systems with advanced configurable integrations, ensuring optimal performance and security. Your tasks will include configuring communication devices, troubleshooting link failures, and managing the startup and commissioning of instrumentation devices. You will also assist in project planning and execution, contributing to a safe working environment and the overall success of projects, with potential travel to customer sites.
About You
Required:
- 8 or more years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of EPMS, BMS, Industrial instrumentation and/or SCADA systems.
- High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience or Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, Ignition, Distech, Niagara, Siemens Desigo, Eaton Foreseer, Schneider EPO, Open Systems Interconnection (OSI), Wonderware.
- CCST certification, Security+ certification.
