Summary
RLDatix is seeking a Technical Data Migration Consultant to join their team remotely. The role involves supporting clients by extracting and transforming healthcare data from previous EHRs into new formats for import into their new EHR systems.
About the Role
As a Technical Data Migration Consultant, you will work for Galen Healthcare Solutions LLC, extracting data from various EHR systems, transforming it, and importing it into target EHRs like Epic, MEDITECH, Cerner, and Allscripts. You will analyze healthcare data formats, facilitate stakeholder meetings, ensure data integrity, and develop documentation for data conversions. Your role will also involve providing customer service and participating in process improvement efforts.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of experience working with healthcare data.
- 3+ years of experience working with EHRs/EMRs.
- High technical proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including the ability to create and edit complex queries and T-SQL scripts.
- Experience working with the HL7 standard.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field.
Preferred:
- Experience with SSIS.
- Current Epic Bridges certification or willingness to obtain.
- Familiarity with various database types and interfaces (Microsoft Access, Oracle, ODBC, OLE DB).
