WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Technical Director, Environmental Engineering to join their team in California. The role involves managing and expanding environmental remediation programs across various sectors.
About the Role
As a Technical Director, Environmental Engineering, you will perform business development within the Oil & Gas and Industrial/Commercial sectors, oversee design and mentorship of engineering staff, prepare technical reports and proposals, manage multiple projects ensuring deliverables and budgets are met, and travel as needed for project execution and business development.
About You
Required:
- BS in Civil, Chemical, Environmental or related Engineering field.
- California (Civil) Professional Engineer’s License.
- 12+ years related environmental remediation and sales experience.
- Strong work ethic and project management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with remediation projects involving regulatory agencies.
- Ability to mentor and direct engineers and technicians.
- Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, and CalEPA Programs.
- Consulting experience with petroleum contamination cleanups.
- Consulting experience in soil gas and vapor intrusion issues.
Preferred:
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) preferred.
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired.
