Summary
Nationwide is seeking a Technical Director, Line of Business - Risk Management (Property) to lead their national property risk management strategy. This position can be filled remotely and is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in property risk management.
About the Role
As the Technical Director, you will develop and execute strategic plans for risk management, ensuring alignment with the company's risk appetite. You will lead research and analysis, deliver technical expertise, drive growth and profitability, enhance service delivery, and promote thought leadership within the organization.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or post-graduate studies preferred.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in commercial risk management with expertise from a line of business perspective.
- Relevant professional certifications/licenses (i.e. CSP, ARM, PE, CFPS, CPCU, CIH, CRM).
Preferred:
- Extensive knowledge of insurance products, safety, and risk management concepts.
- Strong organizational and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to oversee portfolio management and drive technical direction for line of business.
