As a Technical Lead, you will drive alignment on engineering priorities, design scalable backend architectures, build and maintain APIs, optimize database schemas, and ensure engineering excellence through mentoring and best practices. You will also implement robust testing strategies to ensure quality.
About You
Required:
- Previous experience as a technical lead.
- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer operating at scale.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to lead complex implementations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Desire to mentor junior developers.
- Clear communication skills for collaboration with product and design teams.
- Deep experience with backend engineering using high-level programming languages and frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in designing and optimizing SQL databases and complex SQL queries.
Preferred:
- Experience with asynchronous/event-based architectures.
- Strong background in API design, documentation, and versioning strategies.
- Solid understanding of software testing, CI/CD practices, and observability.
