Summary
Ramboll is seeking a Technical Manager - Structural Engineering for their Dams & Waterfront Group, a remote role available to candidates anywhere in the USA.
About the Role
As a Technical Manager, you will manage the growth and performance of the structural design staff, perform structural investigations, analysis, designs, and construction phase engineering related to dam safety and waterfront improvements. Your responsibilities include conducting structural inspections, compiling data for reports, developing design concepts, and preparing detailed design calculations and specifications for complex structures.
About You
Required:
- BS in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer.
- 15+ years of experience in structural design, including reinforced concrete and steel frame structures.
- Knowledge of national and industrial engineering design codes and standards.
- Experience with STAAD PRO, GT STRUDL or similar software.
Preferred:
- Experience in performing QA/QC reviews of structural designs.
- Experience with design of gravity dams, retaining walls, and related hydraulic structures.
- Familiarity with dam safety guidelines from U.S. regulatory agencies.
