Telly TV is seeking a Technical Program Manager – Software Engineering to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves leading and coordinating complex software engineering programs across their platform to ensure high-impact features and updates are delivered on time and with quality.
About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager, you will own the delivery lifecycle of software engineering projects, drive alignment across feature teams, and apply Agile methodologies to manage workflows. You will work closely with engineering, product, hardware, and QA teams, anticipate and unblock issues, and maintain clear project plans and documentation. The role also includes supporting platform engineering efforts around Telly's custom Android-based OS and leading initiatives that require coordination across embedded firmware, Android applications, APIs, and cloud services.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Engineering Program Management.
- Demonstrated experience managing software projects across the full stack – embedded, OS, application, and services.
- Deep familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and other project tracking/reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of AOSP or embedded Android systems.
- AI tooling experience.
- Experience in consumer hardware/software companies.
- Technical background in software development, Android engineering, or systems programming.
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications.
