Summary
LMI is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead a program supporting US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in Fort Liberty, NC. The role involves project management, agile software delivery, and communication.
About the Role
As a Technical Project Manager, you will support and enable highly skilled engineers, represent the program to stakeholders, manage program performance, and ensure compliance with government policies. You will prioritize tasks, manage resources, and prepare reports to ensure project milestones are met.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Secret security clearance
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Strong experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Previous experience supporting USSOCOM
- Experience leading a technical team in the GovTech arena
Preferred:
- Masters Degree
- PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or similar
- Relevant lean/process improvement or Agile certification/training (i.e., SAFe, Six Sigma)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and working with Agile teams
