Etched is seeking a Technical Recruiter (Supercomputing/ML) to join their team in San Jose, CA. The role involves building and owning high-leverage, relationship-driven parts of the recruiting function to hire world-class technical talent.
About the Role
As a Technical Recruiter, you will own the full-cycle recruiting process, build strong partnerships with hiring managers, attend AI meetups and technical conferences to build pipelines, source candidates from unconventional places, facilitate structured interview loops, manage offers, and continuously improve recruiting systems and candidate experience.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience recruiting technical talent in highly competitive markets.
- Ability to evaluate both technical depth and cultural fit with nuance and clarity.
- Resourcefulness in finding exceptional candidates beyond traditional platforms.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building systems from scratch.
- Strong focus on candidate experience and operational excellence.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with the AI, semiconductor, or hardware engineering talent landscape.
- A track record of hiring exceptional engineers in niche or emerging fields.
