Mercor is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The role involves owning full-cycle hiring across critical technical functions and partnering with engineering leadership to shape the engineering organization.
About the Role
As a Technical Recruiter at Mercor, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting across software, machine learning, infrastructure, and leadership roles. You will partner with the VP of Engineering and CTO to define headcount plans and process improvements, build top-of-funnel talent, design assessments, coach hiring managers, and operationalize hiring systems. You will also represent Mercor externally and collaborate on metrics and process automation.
About You
Required:
Experience with full-cycle recruiting across IC and leadership roles.
Deep familiarity with technical roles: SWE, MLE, Applied AI, Security, Infrastructure, and TLM.
Proven ability to build and scale hiring systems, identify key metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication skills; able to work efficiently with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams.
Confident representing the Mercor brand to top candidates.
Preferred:
Experience as a founding technical recruiter or early-stage startup builder.
Interest in the human data / AGI space.
Technical degree or professional experience in engineering.
