PROtect LLC is seeking a Technical Report Writer to join their team on a contract basis in Houston, TX. The role involves developing comprehensive technical reports in accordance with industry standards such as API 653, API 650, API 570, and ASME.
About the Role
As a Technical Report Writer, you will be responsible for reviewing inspection data, non-destructive examination results, and engineering evaluations to produce accurate and clear documentation. Your daily tasks will include ensuring compliance with industry regulations, collaborating with inspectors and engineers, standardizing report templates, and conducting quality checks on documentation.
About You
Required:
- Knowledge of API 653 and familiarity with related codes (API 650, API 570, ASME).
- Experience working with inspection data, drawings, and engineering calculations.
- Exceptional technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience with report generation software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
