About the Role
As a Technical Services Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating and interpreting customer requirements to determine manufacturability within Nucor Fasteners. You will serve as the first point of contact for technical services and quality inquiries, and will escalate issues as necessary. The role requires approximately 30% travel for customer job-site visits, on-site education, supplier development, and audits. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to uphold safety policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- Five (5) years fastener manufacturing experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
Preferred:
- Quality Process Knowledge (APQP & PPAP)
- Blue Print Knowledge (Used during special quotes, APQP and PPAP)
- Specification Interpretation (Reading and reviewing specs to meet customer expectations)
- Knowledge on ISO14001 and IATF 16949 Audits
