Summary
Google is seeking a Technical Solutions Consultant for their Google Distributed Cloud team, located in Seattle, WA. The role involves defining and building scalable cloud solutions to meet customer business objectives.
About the Role
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to manage and deliver successful implementations of cloud solutions. Your responsibilities will include proposing solution architectures, managing deployments, and training customers on Google Distributed Cloud offerings. You will also interact with various stakeholders to ensure project success and may need to travel approximately 30% of the time for client engagements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery.
- Experience in networking, compute infrastructure, and architecting cloud solutions in virtualized environments.
- Experience in Networking, DevOps, Security, Compute, Storage, Hadoop, Kubernetes, or SRE.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time for client engagements.
Preferred:
- MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Cloud certification and experience with Kubernetes, GKE, or EKS.
- Experience in software development, managing Linux environments, network design and deployment, databases, storage systems.
- Experience with networking and system design of load balancers, firewalls, and VPN.
- Experience with customer-facing migration including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.
- Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
