Summary
FDM Group is seeking a Technical Support Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in New York City. The role involves supporting a project in the financial sector, focusing on client incident resolution and ensuring optimal uptime for DA's online services.
About the Role
As a Technical Support Engineer/SRE, you will own and resolve client incident and request cases throughout their lifecycle. Your responsibilities include triaging complex software issues, documenting resolutions, escalating unresolved issues, and participating in a global on-call rotation for support coverage.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline (or equivalent technical training and/or work experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, Developer, App Support Engineer or similar technical role.
Preferred:
- Experience in a fintech, Crypto/Blockchain startup or financial institution.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in cloud environments (Amazon, GCP, Azure) using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience developing applications using Java, JavaScript, Python or Scala.
- Familiarity with connecting and using wallets to manage crypto tokens.
