Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Technician - Shop to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role involves receiving, storing, and transporting materials, as well as performing inspections and maintaining the shop area.
About the Role
As a Technician - Shop, you will be responsible for performing hydrostatic tests on fire extinguishers, assisting walk-in customers, delivering fire extinguishers, maintaining cleanliness in the shop, inspecting received inventory, and driving company vehicles. You will also assist with inventory audits and other assigned duties.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Forklift certification, license, or experience.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred:
1 year of Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within the Shop area.
1 year of professional computer skills.
Inventory control experience.
