About the Role
As a Technician I, you will assist Digital Realty customers by providing best-in-class support. Your responsibilities will include racking and stacking equipment, cabling, and responding to customer requests within service level agreements. You will collaborate with various internal teams to ensure installations meet delivery dates and maintain a positive customer experience.
About You
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in Telecommunications or IT related field.
- Basic understanding of telecom structured cabling standards.
- Understanding of network device deployment.
- Ability to communicate written and verbally.
- Work flexible shift schedules.
- Provide rotational on-call coverage.
- Knowledge of Telcordia installation standards.
- General knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory.
- Understanding of Building Management System (BMS) and Branch Circuit Monitoring System (BCMS).
- Knowledge of inventory control.
- Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
