Summary
AbbVie is seeking a Technician, Manufacturing II to join their team in Worcester, MA. The role involves performing functions associated with cGMP manufacturing operations within the biologics production facility.
About the Role
As a Technician, Manufacturing II, you will be responsible for shipping finished materials, maintaining inventory levels, sampling in-process and raw materials, running glass washers/autoclaves, preparing buffers/media, and conducting cell culture and chromatography processes. You will work closely with engineers on set-up and calibration tasks and utilize sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data.
About You
Required:
- Associates degree in science (or equivalent experience) with 2+ years relevant experience, or a BS with 1+ years relevant experience, or a BS in Engineering with 0+ years relevant experience.
- Ability to apply acquired job skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience in cGMP manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with LIMS, SAP, and automated control systems.
