About the Role
As a Technician Nuclear Medicine, you will operate Gamma Camera imaging equipment and other isotope-sensitive equipment to obtain visual representations or measurements of isotope concentrations in specific body areas. You will provide care to a critically ill patient population, ensuring understanding of their functional and developmental ages. The position requires active participation in fulfilling the mission of San Gabriel Valley Medical Center and supporting its strategic goals. You will also be responsible for ensuring equipment is in operating order and following manufacturer instructions for various medical devices.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Current NMTCB Certification.
- Current BCLS-C Card.
Preferred:
- Associates degree.
- Prior experience in nuclear medicine.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
