About the Role
As a Technologist, Radiologic, you will conduct x-ray examinations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, courtesy, and privacy. You will be responsible for patient care during examinations, processing high-quality diagnostic images, and maintaining the imaging room. Additionally, you will notify supervisors of equipment issues and perform other duties as required.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate from an X-Ray technologist program.
- Current NY State License for X-Ray technology, or must obtain within six months of receiving a temporary license.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with the needs of all patient demographics including infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Knowledge of proper exposure techniques for radiographs.
