YMCA of Greater New York is seeking a Teen Advisor for their Long Island City YMCA branch. This part-time role involves leading and supervising teen programs to empower youth and strengthen community.

The Teen Advisor will oversee all teen services and programs, including Y Saturday Night Programs. Responsibilities include ensuring participant health and safety, planning and facilitating lesson plans, managing administrative tasks and documentation, recruiting participants, meeting program goals, managing adolescent behavior with respect and compassion, fostering positive relationships with teens and their families, leading social emotional learning and skill development programming, collaborating with staff and departments, creating a culturally sensitive environment, participating in meetings and training, and adhering to all relevant standards and regulations.
